GPSoverIP is the patented technology specifically developed for the transmission of telematics data (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPSoverIP). The packet sizes to be transmitted are only about one-tenth those of conventional methods—while offering greater stability, higher density, and enhanced security.
Data Transmission Every Second
Since data transmission with GPSoverIP occurs every second, this is referred to as true live positioning or live tracking. This allows GPSoverIP to be used in motorsports, among other applications, as this field in particular relies on fast transmission without data loss.
In addition to the GPS position, the GPSoverIP method also transmits all types of telemetry data, which provides information on, among other things, operational status, door movement, or fuel level.

Live visualization and access to historical data can be achieved in any software that interfaces with GPSoverIP’s open API. Navigation
No matter which navigation system you prefer—the optional GPSauge mobile app ensures compatibility with your navigation system.
Using the GPSauge mobile app, you can expand the GPSauge’s capabilities with numerous features—including job and route transfer. The transferred job or route can be sent to or imported into your preferred navigation system via validated interfaces. If no specific navigation app is installed on the mobile device, the default navigation app (e.g., Google Maps) will be used. If you install a different navigation app, you can set it as the default in the Settings menu.

Installing the GPSaugen is incredibly easy, as the connections can be made in just a few minutes using automotive-certified connectors.
The GPSauge OBD, in particular, simply plugs into the vehicle’s OBD port and you’re ready to go—telematics has never been easier. It doesn’t matter whether you’re using the GPSauge OBD in a passenger car, a small van, or a truck.
The device automatically detects the internal power supply and telematics connections and adjusts itself accordingly to the required parameters. No configuration is necessary.
